"DO you remember?"

"Do You Remmeber?" is a group event/exhibtiion by Scoulding and Olivia Eaglefield. The event lasted 1 hour at The Lincoln Drill Hall Theatre and was based upon Lincoln's History during WW1 and the history of the site was shown through the art work. Scoulding's work had a large focus on communications during the war including telegrams, morse code and phonetic alphabet.

"1914-1918"

May 2019

"1914-1918" was a small collection of 80 or so letters, hand typed using a vintage type-writer with Morse Code intermitting the words said by families, fathers, lovers, husbands from the Lincolnshire area during 1914 to 1918. The Morse Code represents the thousands of people who would be assigned to filter through all letters between home and the front line to stop any spys getting information.

Officer's Morse

May 2019

"Officer's Morse" is a replica of an Officer's uniform from WW1, including a cap and shoes with a Morse Code transcription of the "Ode of Remembrance". This piece was displayed on a vintage mannequin opposite Eaglefield's piece resembling a war poem transcribed on a Nurse's uniform to narrate a sense of remembrance between all those who gave their lives and who helped many lives during the war.

Footsteps in code

April 2019

"Footsteps In Code" was a collaborative video piece performed by The Lincoln Marine and Sea Cadet Force and show cased their drill techniques.

Originally, this piece was to show the conscription age of the UK during WW1 which was 14-18 years old. But this piece developed while filming and Scoulding recognised the marching beats and Rhythm to match that of Morse Code and so once again used "Ode of Remembrance" in Morse to translate this in a large projection.
